How to Cut a Plate

There are many ways to make circular holes and other shapes on a plate. The Mighty-Mini Globe-O-Former comes with 10 plates for you to make a variety of domes, hemisphers and odd shaped openings.

How to cut a plate For circular holes a small compass is best.

Substitute a second point for the pencil lead.

Divide your circle in half and set the compass points to that dimension.

Slowly scribe into the plastic.

Carefully work the scribe cut with a #11 blade — a dull one. Cutting with the back of the blade is best. making a circular hole as a pattern for your small plastic dome

Use the #11 blade as a drill to open
the center hole. You now have 4 wedges.
