The maximum diameter is approximately 1 ¾". The Mighty Globe-O-Former also comes with a plate that makes it a handy small-format vacuum forming table with a useful area of 2¾" x 6". Perfect for all those small jobs. Of course, one can always find a commercially available small hemisphere — usually something made to an “engineered” dimension — say, 1" or 1 ½" in diameter. But what if you needed a dome shape that was 11/16" in diameter? Or .77" in diameter? Or 9/32"? You may find something close, but probably not. Now you can have a near perfectly sized hemisphere for any project you may have — limited only by the accuracy of your base opening.
