Introducing the Canopy Master: A Small, Convenient Vacuum Forming Table!

Kingston, NY, USA - March 25, 2002 - The Kingston Vacuum Works introduces the Canopy Master, the latest in its line of affordable vacuum forming tables for modelers, designers, hobbyists and engineers. The Canopy Master is now the Kingston Vacuum Works smallest vacuum forming table. It has a working area of 3 ½ x 3 ½" with a hearty 5" diagonal. Perfect for almost any canopy from 1:32 down to 1:144 and smaller! It is especially designed for modelers who seek to improve the scale appearance of their model aircraft or automobiles by forming their own, thinner plastic canopies, entire noses or front ends. An abundant amount of clear acetate and styrene is included with each table.

The Kingston Vacuum Works brought affordable, space saving vacuum forming tables to the international modeling community in 2000. The Canopy Master, like the all the Kingston Vacuum Works vacuum forming tables, makes use of the modelers home vacuum cleaner and kitchen oven. The modeler warms a sheet of plastic in a conventional kitchen oven for about 90 seconds. This makes the plastic highly pliable. Warm plastic is placed over a pattern on the Canopy Master. Then, a home vacuum cleaner provides the pull on the plastic. The Canopy Master vacuum forming table is not a kit. It is ready to use right out of the box. Patterns can be made out of basswood, styrene, plywood, self-hardening or baked clays, acrylics or metals.

Kingston Vacuum Works vacuum formers are now available in five models: the Canopy Master with a working surface of 3½ x 3½" the Kingston Micro with a working surface of 4x6", The Kingston Junior with a working surface of 6x8", the Kingston Mono with a working surface of 8x10" and the Zeppelin Master with a working surface of 14x16". Each model comes with complete illustrated instructions and generous amounts of white styrene and clear acetate butyrate.
